Vaila Terms of Service

What Vaila does

Vaila helps people find a time to meet — one-on-one or in a group — without sharing their calendars with each other. We read your connected calendar events to find open windows, suggest times that work for everyone, and help confirm and manage plans.

What you agree to

• You must be at least 13 years old to use Vaila, and you must have permission from a parent or guardian if your local law requires it.
• You'll use Vaila for real plans with real people, not to spam or harass anyone.
• You're responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide.
• You won't try to reverse engineer, copy, disrupt, scrape, overload, or misuse the app.

Prohibited content and enforcement

Don't use Vaila's plans, chats, or invites to harass, threaten, or abuse anyone, to send spam or scams, to impersonate others, or to share content that is illegal or that you don't have the right to share. You can report a plan or conversation from within the app or by emailing support@vailaapp.com, and you can block another user to stop them from messaging or inviting you. We may remove content, restrict features, or suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules or harm the service or its users.

Plans and pricing

Vaila has a free plan and a paid Pro plan ($6.99/month). Pro unlocks larger group scheduling, multiple connected calendars, and higher AI scheduling suggestion limits (100 per day, up from 10 on Free). Paid subscriptions may include a 7-day free trial when shown at checkout. iOS purchases, trials, renewals, cancellations, and refunds are handled by Apple. Web purchases, cancellations, and billing management are handled through Stripe. People you invite never need a paid plan to respond.

Your calendar data

We access the calendars you connect (Google, Outlook, or Apple) only to find available times and manage confirmed Vaila plans. We never sell your data, never share your events with other participants, and never use your calendar for advertising. Your schedule stays private.

Your account

You're responsible for keeping your account secure. If you think someone has accessed your account without permission, contact us immediately.

Cancellations and changes

You can cancel a paid subscription through the App Store subscription screen for iOS purchases or through the Stripe billing portal for web purchases. Deleting your Vaila account does not automatically cancel an active Apple or Stripe subscription. We can update these terms at any time. If something major changes we'll let you know. Continuing to use Vaila after changes means you accept the new terms.

Deleting your account

You can delete your account at any time from Settings. We remove your login, contacts, calendar data, and profile. Shared plans and chats may remain visible to other participants with your name shown as “Deleted user.”

Disclaimer

Vaila is provided as-is for everyday scheduling. It is not designed for emergency, medical, legal, financial, safety-critical, or other high-stakes scheduling. We do our best to keep it running smoothly but can't guarantee it will always be available, accurate, or error-free. To the fullest extent allowed by law, we're not liable for missed meetings, scheduling mishaps, lost data, indirect damages, or issues caused by calendar providers, carriers, app stores, payment processors, or other third-party services.
